D. Mercier's Sons, manufacturers and wholesale dealers in clothing, hats, furnishing goods, boots, and shoes, was located at old number 51-57 Dauphine Street at the corner of Bienville. The letterhead is dated 1895 (the street number changed in 1894; obviously the Mercier firm didn't redesign their letterhead to reflect this until later).
